Oh and yes I did unlock my BIOS but not the whitelisting. THat reminds me I need to check back on bios mods.

I've attached a zip of the EFI-partition of my USB-Stick. The installOSX-partition contains Mojave.

Edit: It's just for my "installation-stick". my EFI on the internal SSD and /L/E differs.

If you havent replaced your internal WiFi by a Broadcom M2-module, WLAN won't work with this kexts. IDK if there is a kext for eg an Edimax-WiFi-Dongle, but eventually there is.

Which wlan did you use? I haven't decided yet. I'm just working on getting the OS to boot right now.

How did you unlock the BIOS? did you get the guy at Bios mods to do it?
There were some DIY instructions but they were old and dead links made the directions unclear.

Well so far, thanks to your kexts and stuff, I have it booting, it sees the display as a Retina, and my ASUS USB N10 is getting me sweet, sweet Internet.

I need a nap.

I think I need to disable the touchscreen, if anyone has tips on that. The kids dropped it (I will blame them, at least) and it doesn't work properly anymore, phantom touches and all.

So I've made some good progress, got the DDST and SDST or whatever theyre called. They don't jivewith the original instructions. When Itook out the ones with x and without ssdt and dsdt or whatever I end up with:


DSDT.aml SSDT-2-CB-01.aml SSDT-5-CB-01.aml

SSDT-0-CB-01.aml SSDT-3-CB-01.aml

SSDT-1-CB-01.aml SSDT-4-CB-01.aml

So when I start applying patches to my SSDTs I will not be patching the right ones, because they do not match with the instructions.

ALSO
I ran through them and tried to compile them one by one.
My DSDT when I try to compile it it gives me
14398, 6157, [Unknown ASL Compiler exception ID] (MDBG [Method])

I went back and rebooted and redid iasl on it. Same thing.

my refs.txt is copied/pasted from Post Number One.

Thoughts?

Oh and SSDT-2-CB-01 is throwing me a whole pile of these:
247, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_PACKAGE
248, 6126, syntax error, unexpected '{'
which makes me think that has an easy fix but what the heck do I know?

So the SSDT-2 file fixed itself when I patched it. The DSDT file did not. I copied that DSDT file and the same version of iasl and the same version of MaciASL to my real Mac and it worked. Same file, different computer, one worked one didn't.

As we've got the same CPU there is a high probability my patched files will work for you also.
Therefor I've attached my patched-Folder as Zip. If our Firmware-version differs, it though my not work.
