I wonder if the the Lenovo V330-15IKB has gotten old, and everyone's moved on? But it's also unbecoming to have this thread in the Mojave section when we're really all using Catalina.
I'm not going back to Clover. I think OpenCore is mature enough that this is what you want to be using from now on. Actually, there is one thing about OpenCore—upgrading is completely manual, and you also have to tweak the config.plist file, so you can seriously make your system unbootable if you make a mistake there. Otherwise, I still prefer it to Clover.
The Lenovo laptop is just as slow in Linux or Windows, so I shrugged and thought it's what I paid for. Is there a configuration that's faster?
The F-keys could use some remapping for volume and brightness to work properly, but I haven't needed them so I haven't looked. I think I was using some kext fix for them with my previous HP laptop. That's probably where the solution is.
But as for the trackpad, I can get it working with VoodooI2C and VoodooRMI. There's a slight version conflict that makes the system unbootable that's not worth my time fixing, though. I've gotten too used to using a mouse and Bluetooth trackpad. They're both more ergonomic than the laptop trackpad, and my shoulder and back thank me for that. itlwm gets the WiFi going, and IntelBluetoothFirmware gets Bluetooth going.
