hi Sniki.
First of all. Thank you for the guide again. It´s a hard work we have to thank you.
I have two questions for you.

1) I have a t440p with 2.32 bios.
Can i download the lastest bios (2.46), modify it to get whitelist /advance menu and flash it (upgrade, not downgrade) without using CH341a Flash Programmer and SOIC8 Test Clip?
If it does not work...You said in the main post: " there's a version of Bios that doesn't have whitelist."....Do you know which of them?
I would NOT like to use the flash programmer and test clip.
Updating version is always possible without soldering, don´t you?

2) T440p has an Intel Combo Wifi+BT card. Exactly model 7260.
We know Wifi will never works in macOS but sometimes Sierra recognises bluetooth and i can use it.
What´s happened with bluetooth?...Can we make it fully compatible?
When it works...works flawless!

Thank you so much for your interest.
Sorry for my poor english level.
Greetings from Spain!

@Sniki

Hi @Sniki, thanks for your detailed guide.
I followed to all steps carefully but encountered a couple of issues.
Sorry for the bad English in advance, because its not my native language.
Let me explain step-by-step. (I newly in mackintosh theme, and want to know all that needed to accomplish patching this laptop)
Mine laptop has:
Intel core i5 4210m (2.6 GHz up to 3.2GHz)
Intel HD Graphics 4600
Screen 1367*768
NO discrete graphics
Since built in Wi-fi is unsupported, I use TP-Link TL-WN725N which working perfect with High Sierra

What works after your guide:
boot is ok, but after attempt of update
-graphics
-ethernet
-keyboard (I will replace it with a keyboard that has backlight)
-touchpad (standart, not replaced)
-all USB ports
-sleep/wake semi-working (sometimes does not going to sleep. I hear fan and HDD are working)
-led blink semi-working (even after woke up it blinks)

Об этом Mac 2018-01-21 13-39-58.jpg

What not work and I want to fix this thing up
-accomplish work with sleep feature
-buttery does does not showing % (even after dsdt patching and attempt to use dsdt file from attachment in this thread)
-RGB/D-Sub cable non working (however I will not use, and fix it when mini display port will be checked)
-microphone
-camera
-sound
-3.5mm jack

everything was done according to guide, however I wasn't succeeded in patching ACPI and dsdt.
So according to guide i'v created an installation flash drive using Unibeast and image from the AppStore.
Its was a blank install without patched files or injected kexts.
Right after the first boot all 4 usb works and ethernet works too.
I'v installed kexts from this thread and from Rehabman's repository, and applied Rehabman's fork of clover.
So after using sdst files from this thread i wasn't succeeded to fix battery status.
Sound as well...

Read FAQ, Attach Problem Reporting files:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

a more simple script if your lazy to collect them, u can use this script:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/tool-generate-proper-problem-reporting-files.235953/

Without problem reporting files i can just blind guess.

It doesn't seem that you are using my files from my guide.
Your SSDT into EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched seems to be corrupted.

Use my SSDT-T440P.aml from my guide and place it into EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched
Use the config.plist from my guide and place it into EFI/Clover/

For audio you installed VoodooHDA, you are not using my kext.

I suggest a clean install again, i don't recommend unibeast for Laptops.

Use Rehabman Fork of Clover Bootloader:
https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/clover/downloads/

How to create a usb installer:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

With my recent files you should have everything working correctly, i just updated the guide an hour ago.

All that you see is after my experiments.

should i rename it to SSDT.aml or leave original name?
Leave everything as it is until you check if everything is working correctly.
