[Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad L440 (v3.0)

Hey!

I love your guide and still use my "mac" everyday. I installed it successfully on a L450 Thinkpad. Unfortunately I have now a problem with the USB ports. If I plug in my Android phone it shows me that the USB does not have enough power. It does not matter which of the three usb ports I try it cannot provide enough power over USB. Can you help me out?

May I ask you a question? I managed to get the whitelist out of my UEFI by using the CH384A. Did yours beeps 5 time (2x) on boot? Otherwise it works perfectly.

I did it on my own because I saw that the forum bios-mod is abandoned.

@Sniki Today I upgraded my L440 with AU Optronics B140HAN01.1 (full HD), nice screen.

And finnaly fixed the 5 beeps on boot. I learned how to fix the BIOS RSA signature. If you wan't I can fix your.

I forgot to mention it. I have the BIOS in version 1.93 (most recent) with MSR 0xE2, Advanced Menu, Whitelist and RSA signed.

Thanks, mine is signed and i have no issues with beeps.
I don’t have the laptop anymore i gave it to my father and i know the guide is very outdated for now, but i will update it as soon as i find some time for that.

Hello,i have Lenovo l440 with 4gen i3,, I don't have advanced menu in bios, so I managed to run Mojave somehow, managed to instal usb wi-fi,also to instal sound, and mostly that's I managed to do, my graphics is intel hd 4600,but in my laptop shows intel hd 3000 with 5mb vram, if I change my config.plist with clover I got errors while booting,droping tables falliture,
so I got too many attempts I'm new at this, no idea how to fix it ...

It is on my schedule so i guess it won't take too long before i update all my Thinkpad guides.

download the zip and use SSDT-L440.aml to ACPi/Patched and use my config.plist.

Shiki and other graphics kexts are not used anymore, use whatevergreen.kext, lilu.kext etc

Okay if im correct,i just copied ssdt-l440.aml at patched,then ur konfig instaled lulu and whatevergreen, but the only progres is this just says intel hd 4600 with 5mb, also my usb is gone and my sound too ..

Hello again, sorry for disturbing, so far I managed to run graphics, my audio , my usb's, now left the small things like brightness ,my battery won't show up, bluetooth also, i used the kexts for them but not manage to run them .....,shoud I change config.plist again this the new ones. Thanks!
