1. How to connect a 4k monitor? When I connect the same monitor to this laptop on Windows or Linux, the resolution is 3840x2160 (60 hz), and here it is only 2560x 1600 (60hz)
2. The touchpad does not work at all. How to turn it on?

To be honest i don't have a 4K monitor to test and fix it to work under macOS but i planned to go to a friend and test it on his 4K tv.

About touchpad, you need voodooinput.kext together with the acidanthera VoodooPS2Controller.kext

L540 is a different laptop, u can try though but celeron cpus are not supported, yoy should be able to find for a very cheap price a i5-4300M or something similar, i3 should work as well.

Then not only you have support but you only get a much faster system in general.

Hello, I followed the guide but I cant seem to get it to boot. It is stuck on an ACPI error. I dont have a clue to what might be wrong. Ive linked my Clover folder and a image of the error. Thanks.

sometimes enabling csm in bios can fix that
