This guide seems like it is for Skylake, not Kaby Lake.
Kaby Lake requires a few tweaks (see main Clover laptop guide linked from the FAQ).
There is also important information regarding dual boot in the same guide (post #2).

i7-6600 is a skylake chipset?! http://ark.intel.com/products/88192/Intel-Core-i7-6600U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_40-GHz
Do i miss your point?

Just in case, for the wifi picking a BCM94352Z DW-1560 is ok? I read about "cannot be used with lenovo due to bios locks" - is that a thing?

I read your post "with a i76600U" as KabyLake, due to lack of a dash... eg. i7-6600U.

Depends on whether your laptop has a BIOS whitelist implemented or not.

Sounds like a myth you do not want to tell me? :) Do the T460 differ in charges? I made the an BIOS update to the most recent version, so is there a way to tell before buying such a Wifi card? Those cards are to get used only, mostly with plenty of issues when you return those because of "did not work" - i could not find any informations yet about this whitelist.

Just in case it matters, i could install Sierra without bigger issues, the one mostly happens is, that you need to Inject Intel + Fake ID:0x12345678 to actually boot the installer or the OS, otherwise it kernel panics with a IGP issue.

Still the Wifi issue remains and i would love to know how i could find out, if my T460 has blacklisted those (how would i?)

UPDATE: some interesting things about that https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Genera...rd-BIOS-whitelists-Lenovo-COME-ON/td-p/952681

Google may help you...
But you'll find out for sure when you attempt to install a replacement card.

See guide/FAQ regarding DVMT-prealloc and the minStolenSize patch.

Okay, so I think I am having a problem with my clover setup. Everything shows up correctly when I boot into clover, however, when I try to install osx the mac apple shows up, but is then replaces with a do not enter sign. Kinda like a wrong way sign. Please let me know what information I can give so we can figure this out.

Thanks

Thanks for this guide, Work in Thinkpas x260 ?

Anybody knows which is the correct version of BCM94352Z to replace the stock Intel WiFi card in T460/T560?
I wonder if DW-1560 will work?

Without a BIOS WiFi whitelist, any BCM94352Z will work.
