[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

Processor kext is 1.1.1 but Battery kext is still 1.0 in VirtualSMC is 1.1.1 update package.
I'll try to update Clover too, see if it works for me as well.
By the way, how did you update macOS to 10.15.4, via direct software update?
 
Well, I updated to 10.15.4 with latest clover to date (1507) and everything worked OK. I kept VoodooPS2Controller.kext at 2.1.0 but trackpad was not working with it. Then I updated it to 2.1.2 and it is working again after reboot. Just weird.
 
Hi, my sd card reader work with "Sinetek-rtsx.kext" version 1.0 in folder efi kext

This kext is for the RealTek card readers. Some of the S340's have a card reader by O2 Micro, and won't work for those. Check your PCI device list first.

Update: I tried this kext with my S340 (with RealTek card reader) and it caused a hang/stall on boot. Use at your own risk.

download and rename folder NVMeFix to NVMeFix.kext. and replace same one of efi kext folder.
but it not fix completely...
i suggest replace m2 or using 2.5inch ssd.
if you use 2.5inch, ssd may unstable read and write.

and command [sudo trimforce enable] makes u happy.
dont forget. without nvmefix, dont install paragon ntfs for read windows files in m2: pm991. this causes panic loop.

you may also need trackpad setting. m2 may dont need but 2.5inch needed.

@Dr.Aequitas Could you please share your EFI ?

After I update to 10.15.4, I cannot use touchpad even I update virtualSMC1.1.1 , CLOVER 2.5R5107 and VoodooPS2kext 2.1.2
 
I am not sure, what I have done. But now It is working.
 
O2 SD card readers can be made to work ..... with config.plist. Check my guide.
Nvmefix makes a huge difference in power consumption for my Ideapad S540-14IWL
