[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

ahh, so you boot from usb installer and it is not showing the hard drive where you have already installed macOS?

probably means it didn't install properly to your hard drive or you are missing ApfsDriverLoader.efi on your usb installer?
Yes, exactly like you say in the first line. ApfsDriverLoader.efi is present. I tried several time to reinstall it after initializing every time the hard drive. I am reading around that i should add a SSDT-NVME patch, which is not present in ACPI-patched folder.. i'll try like that

Also ensure that your clover has the NVME drivers.
It is not selected by default when you install clover, I would wager that you missed it.

I am using your EFI folder :) I don't know which one NVME driver you are referring. Can you give me some help? I just have NVMEXPRESSDXE.efi...Now I just tried to install it on my second ssd, on the 2,5'' slot (Samsung evo 850) and I was able to finish the installation. So i guess something is wrong/not compatible with the m.2 Samsung 970 evo.

I was able to install Catalina on the second ssd, but the trackpad isn't working. And the computer randomly reboot with this panic kernel. What's wrong?
PS: I have bios version 2.01

NVMEXPRESSDXE.efi is the driver i was talking about.
Are your disks in AHCI mode? Check your BIOS settings.

There's nothing else i can think of.

Thanks for you patience.. Yess, nvmexpressdxe.efi is present. Disks are in AHCI mode. Now I'll show you my bios settings, maybe sth is wrong. Version is 2.01.
I could make it through the installation on the old SSD... And I noticed the internal camera isn't working. If I open facetime, the camera shows me just red. And the trackpad isn't working as well.
About the panic kernel thing I talked about in the previous message. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Your BIOS settings look good. Here are mine, if you want to compare.

You have the 2.05 version.. Mine is 2.01. Do you suggest to update the bios? I guess with you everything is working correctly with the 2.05, right? Also.. Which version of catalina do you have? I have 10.15.2

I'll be a good idea to upgrade the BIOS, regardless.

I'm on 10.15.2 as well.
