you should only need to edit it the once...

then check it over with ocvalidate tool to see if you have missed anything else out

Can I use Opencore 0.6.8 without any further configuration or I Should follow the guide using Opencore 0.6.7?

Edit: I'll just use 0.6.7 until the files get updated.

I'm having some trouble with the update of open core.I actually am on oc 0.6.7 but when I try to update to 0.6.8 or 0.6.9 the touchpad doens't works and before the oc start screen it shows this to me.

Files have been updated. Open Core has also been updated to 0.6.9

No such issues for me. Try the latest version.

You could consider the crappy battery life as a "feature" of this laptop.
At one point I had even considered upgrading to a 52Wh battery.
