Hmm, did you try to use ACPI patches provided in the Docs folder of the VoodooPS2 repo? (I think these are for thinkpads but may work on this model, too)I updated this guide to describe upgrade to Big Sur. Update progressed with little to no problems.
I am unable to resolve the touchpad button problems. If you want gestures, use acidanthera's VoodooPS2Controller build; if you want touchpad buttons, use Rehabman's build.
I did not know of their existence until after reading your reply. Are you talking about this? The descriptions don't seem to suggest they'll fix the issue though?Hmm, did you try to use ACPI patches provided in the Docs folder of the VoodooPS2 repo? Should probably read up on this before going any further: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/This is what I have in my Clover EFI partition, only one custom SSDT on patched and multiple files in origin that I just dumped with F4 function in Clover; what of these I have to put in the OC ACPI folder?
Based on this issue found in the Github, a guy with a similar laptop model (z70-80) got this working with that SSDT. I tried but it didn't work for me. I was curious if you tried.
