Lenovo Flex 2-15 Hackintosh

What works (currently using macOS 10.13.3):
  • Ethernet
  • Touchscreen
  • USB / Card Reader
  • Hotkeys for Audio, Brightness (patched)
  • Audio (Speakers, Jack and HDMI), Webcam + Microphone
What does not work:
  • Mic over Combojack (also not supported on any other OS)
  • Wifi / Bluetooth (needs replacement card since Intel is not supported)
Untested / yet to do:
  • Sleep / Wake
Based on (Big thanks to RehabMan):
Installation
  • clone files from https://github.com/aytic/Lenovo-Flex-2-15-Hackintosh
  • copy kext files to S/L/E and L/E
  • copy or modify clover.plist and use the kexts in Other dir
  • use my DSDT / SSDT or patch yourself (see below)
  • do VoodooPS2 install (see misc)
    Code:
    # Remove conflicting kexts
    sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
    sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext
    # add the Daemon to startup
    sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons
    sudo cp VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin
  • run the Trackpad install script (else you will have no tap to click)
  • setup three finger gestures in Keyboard Settings (they emulate keystrokes as workaround)
Manually creating DSDT/SSDT files
Read up on one of RehabMan's guides and apply following patches
  • IRQ Fix
  • Audio Layout 3 (DSDT) and rename B0D3 to HDAU (SSDT-3-CB-01 with changed layout-id 3)
  • My battery and brightness control patch files
add on kexts should only be installed to /L/E unless you are replacing a kext that is in /S/L/E

Ok, will change! Thought it makes no difference where to place it^^.

The bluetooth works but can't turn it off. The wifi does not work.

because if it is Intel, it is not supported. bluetooth will work but can't turn off and wifi will defiantly not work, it will need to be replaced with compatible hardware

My 3.5mm and trackpad gestures doesn’t work too.

Audio from 3.5mm or mic from 3.5mm? Also what gestures are not working for the trackpad.

Small update: I got wifi+bluetooth working by flashing my bios chip and installing a new wifi card. I will post a guide on how you can do this in the next couple of days. The laptop is now 99% compatible (no hibernation)

I just updated the guide to get the laptop in 99% workable condition. Please note that I cannot provide my bios image as it contains personal information. I am super happy with the results and happy I can share this with you guys here!
