Thank you, could you make a guide, it would be greatly appreciated. Your files fixed most of the little issues I was having, but also caused some more. I think it is probably because I have the 330s-15IKB 81F5 version. If you could post a guide on how you did your dsdt patching that would be really helpful. Thanks again.

Thank you very much @Feartech ! I've tried to use the same but obviously it won't work as I have a different machine here.

However, YOU showed me the way to do it !

Now my Lenovo Thinkpad E470 with Intel HD620 can use an external monitor !!!!!!

Here is my solution:

Code:
<key>Properties</key>
        <dict>
            <key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key>
            <dict>
                <key>AAPL,GfxYTile</key>
                <data>
                AQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key>
                <data>
                AAAWWQ==
                </data>
                <key>device-id</key>
                <data>
                FlkAAA==
                </data>
                <key>disable-external-gpu</key>
                <data>
                AQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>enable-hdmi20</key>
                <data>
                AQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>framebuffer-con1-alldata</key>
                <data>
                AQUJAAAIAACHAQAAAgQKAAAEAACHAQAA
                </data>
                <key>framebuffer-con1-enable</key>
                <data>
                AQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>framebuffer-patch-enable</key>
                <data>
                AQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>framebuffer-stolenmem</key>
                <data>
                AAAwAQ==
                </data>
            </dict>
        </dict>

not sure why you were posting in a guide thread for a laptop you don't own...

but, if you have learned something and you have successfully accomplished something then kudos! :) and well done :)

Sorry about that but it surely helped.
