Hi everone!

Any news on the thunderbolt working?
I have an UA Apollo and can't find a Thunderbolt 2 board anymore...
Really thinking about this one if works properly.

Thanks you all!

Good question. There are reports of the Thunderbolt 3 ports working on this board in the same manner as Thunderbolt 2, ie using Windows drivers to initialize the controller. I haven't tested personally yet, but I'll be picking up a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt adapter sometime next month. Then I can test on Thunderbolt to ethernet, Thunderbolt to SATA, and Thunderbolt to Firewire adapters. Something like this:

Here's a testing thread I made for my main rig a few years back with further explanation.

What version of clover are you running for the shutdown fix to work? Also thanks for the info about unplugging the watercooling for sleep!

I had the same problem turning wake on lan off in bios solved it for me

Looking forward to the results of your tests!

Still having sleep and shutdown problems on GA-Z170X-UD5 TH. Tried swapping over AMD and Nvidia graphics cards with same result, system goes to sleep then wakes up a few seconds later or a shutdown leads to a restart. Corsair H60 cooler without USB. Very puzzling.

BruceX (with 280x): 12secs
I'm am amazed by this result.
It far better than the most powerful Mac Pro
the 280x is not a top class GPU
Mine is 25 Secs with the same GPU
Thanks
