[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Is anyone running his NUC8 on High Sierra and willing to share his EFI folder (either Clover or OpenCore) ? I managed to get MacOSX 10.13.6 installed and booted but there are some issues (including iGPU graphics driver not being loaded).

Does anyone know which wifi/antenna cables are installed in NUC8i5BEH? I'm trying to use Bcm943602cs card with M2 adapter. First I tried to connect Bcm943602cs to the original antenna cables installed Nuc. The white code could reach Bcm943602cs, but the black code could not. So I ordered IPEX MHF4 Antenna WiFi Cable from Amazon, but I just noticed the connectors of Bcm943602cs don't fit to the cables from Amazon. I connected the white code to J0 port on Bcm943602cs, and I confirmed wifi works well, but no bluetooth connection. So I really need a wifi/bluetooth antenna cord for Bcm943602cs now...

You can modify the route of the cable then it will reach the connector

Good idea. The original antennas on NUC are using IPEX4 connector while the BCM943602CDP is using IPEX1.

Bluetooth also requires proper USB configuration, the connectors need to be wired right and the internal header you are using enabled.

OK.. I think I ordered IPEX1 cable... I will order IPEX4 cable for the 3rd port on the card. Thanks.

Yes. I did and MacOS recognized it as bluetooth card in system information. Thanks.

It may be better, I will try, thanks.

It was easier than I expected. Now bluetooth is working. I may not need antenna for 3rd (j2) port.

I was able to get my NUC8i7BEH running Catalina using the latest OC EFI zip on page 90. It's also working on the latest BIOS as well, so its good to see that BIOS compatibility issues seem to be a thing of the past.
Thanks to @Leesureone this was a walk in the park compared to the last time I dabbled in hackintosh.

That said, the SD card reader doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to get this working? Based on previous posts there seems to be mixed results on this.

Another factoid: if I boot my NUC with an SD card inserted into the card reader, it panics:

Code:

I will have a go at debugging this.
