[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

The audio Layout is already 28. Reset HDA is unchecked, does it have to be checked ?
No. There are four or five other layout IDs that work with with this codec. The guide shows how to identify what device and choices for ID there are. I’ve also posted about which they are in this thread before but I’m away from my desk. Try one of the other IDs.

Hackintool indicates the audio device is a Realtek ALC235
I tried the layout from this page for ALC235
Same issue with every ID tested :s

I finally managed to move forward, now the installation starts well, I changed the hard disk which was new and seems incompatible with the UEFI on the NUC.
The new disk is clearly visible in the BIOS

Thank you for your help

Here's my post to another user regarding the same issue. We are talking about the front head phone jack right ? You can always try my OpenCore EFI. No reported issues with sound yet.

Make sure you update your Evo 970 firmware on windows first.

Please see page 90 of this thread for my post with EFI folders attached. As @mitoda said if you have an EVO plus update the firmware.

Pretty much, here is where the info is in clover including the UUID.

Here is where the ROM or MAC address is. There are a series of colons operating the value you eliminate and then add like this including the brackets <12345678>

worked well, smooth transition from Clover to OC without any re-signin to icloud.
Also no more headstands to make filevault work, just ootb, wonderful.
