[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Can you upload your EFI folder? Remove the serial numbers if you are concerned.
Good Morning, the wifi card doesn't work and neither does the bluethoot but i don't care i don't really need them but the one that warms up the microprocesor if it worries me. I pass the folder to you, thank you very much for the help in advance

I keep looking for NUC that I can stick apple WiFi/BT card in. What NUC is that? Is it Quad Core?
If you read the first page of the guide it says the Dawson Creek model has an M2 wifi/bluetooth card that can be changed. I'm not sure its the best choice though being other users have had issues with it, could have been the user though. The NUC8 larger models you can use an adapter in the NVMe slot and get wireless that way but you have to give up the MVMe disk speeds and be limited to a single SATA drive. I can get you more information if you like, its not a perfect solution and takes some hacking skills to configure.

Thanks, the Wifi will not work regardless but the bluetooth can with the attached kext. I notice a couple of things to modify that might help but also check your L/E directory to see if there are any redundant kexts. For whatever reason the script by Rehabman copies kexts to both clover/kexts/other and L/E which can cause problems. Deleting them from L/E is relatively easy but you have to rebuild the kextcache after you are done. In terminal enter "sudo kextcache -I /"

I notice you are loading redundant memory drivers which is lucky your system boots, with your set up you should be using either AptioMemoryFix.efi or OsxAptioFixDrv the later being the newer version. Deleter the other two.

Then you are also setting the CPU speed via Clover, maybe you had issues at some point or it was set up that way by Rehabman, but you should comment out that section. Put a # in front of that entry or use Clover Configurator to turn it off and then reboot to see if that helps. Let Power Management throttle the CPU as needed (which is what the PlusinType =YES does).

That is great, glad that worked.

Hello!!
Excuse me
Could you share your opencore efi with me?
My model is NUC7I7BNH.
Thanks a lot!!
Here you go, you can help me test it. I updated bios to 81 and also updated the HDMI firmware both from the support download page from intel. Add serial numbers, UUID etc

Guys, I bought a basic 4k monitor (a $500 27" Dell UltraSharp). Man, it looks gorgeous, fonts are nearly as crisp and handsome as on my MBP.

The issue is... when I boot up, the bitten apple logo disappears and then the display starts showing coloured noise like old analog TVs when they lose signal. Disconnecting the HDMI and connecting it back again solves issue. What could be the culprit here?

Nevermind, updated to the clover config from post#894 hereof, the screen turned pink. Fixed that by applying the HiDPI patch.

Good day everyone,

just a small update:
I'm now on the 10.14.5 supplemental update. The bios 81 update is running on my Nuc7i5BNK. I still get the message, that the Mac was shutdown due to an error. The system itself is stable, it ran for almost 2 days in a row while downloading the photo and iCloud data. I also added the CPU speed for my system as suggested in Post #2677.

Has someone a workaround for the error message? Thanks in advance.

Greetings
schlotterp
