Hello, I'm attempting an installation on a NUC8i3BEH (i3 8109U). I'm getting stucked at the very beginning, when i select Install Mojave via Clover on the USB drive. I've applied the suggested BIOS settings with the only exception of Security->Security Features, "Execute Disable Bit" which is not present as a BIOS option. I've followed the createinstallmedia method and I've added the minimum necessary kext.

The installer keeps getting stucked at this point (see attachment on verbose). I've waited more than 5 minutes and it remains in that state, no error code whatsoever.

Is there anything I'm missing?

Thanks for the help

- use the nuc8 variant plists (config_install_nuc8_bc.plist, config_nuc8_bc.plist)
I thought you could only have on conf.plist are you supposed to copy these to config.plist, I did that and I don't get the option to boot Mojave, I only get the apple logo and then the long line below it goes to the end and stops.

Yes, only one config.plist is possible. Please see post 903 in this thread for issues with this guide as is.

wow great thank you, I will look at post 903, concerning the Samsung 970 EVO, I looked at Samsungs web site and the only way to update the firmware is with a windows .exe file. I updated the firmware on my nuc from .0064.2019.0213.1122 to 0071.2019.0510.1501. That was quite an adventure as the Intel site said copy these files to your usb boot disk, when creating a boot disk it usually creates them in read only mode. I had to install linux on the nuc then copy the files over to the EFI directory then I could access it via the nuc bios, UEFI shell.

Check Samsungs Download page more closely, there are instructions on how to create a Linux boot disk. I did and it was surprisingly easy and painless, same for updating the firmware on the NUC. Copied the bios to a USB drive and hit F4 I think...
