I need help with my xps 9530 uhd hd4600 intel i7 4702hq
when I use kext to patch with Lilu and WhateverGreen everything is ok,graphics has no glichtes
I use this patch

but when I change to Framebuffer pach I have glitches as in attaches photo
I tried other values from manual and also tried another smbios but with no success
I attached IOReg and plist,one is witch kext to patch and one is with framebuffer
I use Mojave 10.14.6
any suggestion ? thanks in advance

I need your experience and deep insight as to what could be the cause of the following, kindly advice if possible.

Symptom: Adjusting brightness working as per method 1 with slider. However the screen at full brightness is very dark. Half brightness (60%) = black screen.

I have made 2 videos to show the contrast:
1. Display with Slider
2. Display without Slider

Please unzip them and open the .mov file to see the difference.

I'm using SMBIOS = MabookPro15,3. That is closest to i7-9750H CPU that uses device 3E9B (see Intel CPU info).
Can it be the I need to use MacbookPro15,1 ?. I tried that but have the same effect.

Is their a way to adjust the brightness levels other than slider ?

Kindly note, I have also tried other ig-platform-id / frame buffers:
0x3E9B0009 (mobile, 3 connectors, no fbmem, 58 MB)-confirmed working with trackpad but with dark screen
0x3E9B0000 (mobile, 3 connectors, no fbmem, 58 MB)-confirmed working with trackpad but with dark screen
0x3E9B0008 (mobile, 1 connectors, no fbmem, 58 MB)-confirmed working with trackpad but with dark screen
0x3E9B0006 (mobile, 1 connectors, no fbmem, 39 MB)-not working. Get a black screen.

Can't get my DVI working without using sleep mode.
When my Hack boots with both screens on (DVI monitor and HDMI TV), only TV screen works, but it glitches for some time (about 10 seconds) and then works fine. If I send my hack into sleep mode, both DVI monitor and HDMI TV are working fine after awakening.

I am using lenovo ideapad 110 - 15isk (i7 6798du /AMD Radeon 430m/ 8gb ram)

trying to get higher VRAM on intel HD graphics 510 (4 MB now) and brightness control if possible, but I'm new here and don't know much about hackintoshing, so I'm using clover configurator and I guess I can't fly far with it. so if anyone has AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext configured for my specifications send me over pls.

If not, just tell me simply what to do with my specifications in mind.

Hi guys! I recently installed Mojave on my Asus Rog, everything works pretty well but i can't have the hardware acceleration from my i5 8300h (uhd 630). I tried everything and I am pretty sad about that... I used gfx util to see my igpu path but it doesnt show!
As you can see in my screenshots in graphic tab it displays nvidia.
I have an 1060 in my laptop but i need to enable the igpu instead!

Could you help me? Sorry for my english

its not normal to use an smbios for a desktop when you have a laptop

I put the macbook 15.2 smbios and the igpu continue to stay hide... the guide is a bit hard for me, i will try it for sure.
Anyway after egpu is disabled, is it sure that igpu will pop up? Because in my system info is reported nvidia and after disabled it my video output without both nvidia and intel i guess cant work. Sorry again for my english I'm trying my best

Hi,

I have a problem with Intel HD620. It causes lags (for about 20 seconds) after waking from sleep mode.

There are a lot of AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer [IGFB][ERROR] in the log. E.g:

[EDID] fb2 : DP-EDID set offset failed
[EDID] EDID read failed for FB2 port = 2, block = 0
FB2: ReadAUX Timeout for addr 600 with Status = 0xe00002d6
FB2: WriteAUX Timeout for addr 600 with Status = 0xe00002d6

However, my Dell laptop has only 1 external video port - HDMI, 1 Internal - eDP (LVDS) and nothing on FB2 (DP) port:

Framebuffer@0 - Internal Display (eDP-LVDS)
Framebuffer@1 - HDMI

I'm not sure why the system always trying to connect to DP port if I don't have one. This causes lags.

If eliminate DP port the system reboots after waking from sleep (KBL panic).


Any ideas how to fix this?
