Does that mean that my native power management is working? Secondly could you help me get the battery level working. None of the patches in this thread people have suggested are working because MacIASL won't let me apply them (apply is greyed out).

Power management: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-native-power-management-for-laptops.175801/

Battery status: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-how-to-patch-dsdt-for-working-battery-status.116102/

Both guides have a "Problem Reporting" section.

I have attached the zip as per instructions in the troubleshooting section. I have tried fixing battery status but it's so complicated i'm getting incredibly confused, will keep attempting ;P. Would love to know if native power management is working.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

ACPIBatteryManager.kext is not installed.

There are probably more problems, but at least you have to install the kext...

Note that if you plan to use NullEthernet with SSDT-RMNE.aml as a way to load it, the SSDT-RMNE.aml you have in ACPI/patched is not loading due to your omitting it from config.plist/ACPI/SortedOrder.

The "HP G6 2221ss" patch appears to be a match for your DSDT.

Battery status works thanks for spotting my silly mistake ! I applied ssdt-rmne.aml to sorted order but it still says en0 is not built in. Also tried the nullethernet injector and that had the same result. FYI this laptop has no built in ethernet port.

You have to reset your network interfaces per NullEthernet README.

As far as I can tell I followed the reset instructions to a T and it still says it isn't built in in Ioreg.

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

ACPI is not patched correctly here...

The correct set of SSDTs are not present, DropOem is set wrong, and the DSDT is not patched for instant wake (need _PRW 0x6d patch). I didn't check any further.

See guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/

You should have in ACPI/patched:
DSDT.aml
SSDT.aml (from ssdtPRgen.sh)
SSDT-0.aml
SSDT-1.aml
SSDT-2.aml
SSDT-3.aml
SSDT-4.aml
SSDT-5.aml

Thanks again for your help. Seems sleep works now, just wanted to give some feedback.

For sleep to also work with USB devices attached, I had to remove the _PRW methods in DSDT (renamed them to XPRW); I found the solution here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307495-sleep-problems/

Removing them is not needed. You can simply change them... It is done in my "USB _PRW" patches as described in "instant wake" in the ACPI patching guide.
