A Newegg seller has this for about $210. With the i7 and 8 GB of ram you can use it as is or upgrade to an SSD to make boot ups and program opening much faster. A much better value than a 2018, 800 dollar Mac mini with the i3-8100 and 8GB of ram. The dual onboard DP outputs let you run dual 1440p monitors via the onboard HD4000 graphics.

You'll get 550 MB/s read speeds so it will make your Dell feel much snappier. If you want AMD graphics, get the MSI RX560 low profile card. It will fit, a very tight fit, but it will work OOB and is a major upgrade to the built in HD4000 or even UHD630. Would be the best way to run a 3 monitor setup or a dual monitor 4K configuration via DP and HDMI outputs.

I've only spent a few hours doing this so not a person who should be trouble shooting; however, I can confirm I have HDMI sound working on my version per this guide with relative ease. I just clicked Voodoo on Multibeast and it worked. Subsequently, I've uninstalled and use the AppleALC and Lilu which also works. I realize this doesn't help you but you can at least know that my HDMI pretty much worked out of the box so it's definitely possible.

I think that Bill888 is trying to get HDMI audio from his 5450 GPU which is completely different from your GT 710. The 710 is natively supported and the HD5450 is not. Would probably require some DSDT edits to get that working for 5450.

I looked to that thread today and it's closed. It was very helpful, I followed everything and was able to have get Airplay to youtube option working however it doesn't show up in mirror still? Any ideas on where to look? I'm sorry if it seems lazy on my part because that's not my intention but I guess learning what questions to ask and where to look is an art itself. Googling yields only so many results based on the terms and I didn't know what a kext was last week.

It doesn't work OOB like HD4000 does, requires specific DSDT edits. You can try it if you'd like. Post in that thread for help, not here.

The guide shows you how to patch your own DSDT, that is the only way to do it. There is also a video to watch. Someone else's DSDT will not work on your system, sorry.
