[Guide] Install 10.11 on HP EliteBook/ProBook/others with Clover UEFI

Writing you from El Capitan.
I tried for the last time 2b, very, very carefully. Reading each paragraph, triple checking every step to get to the same dead end: Reinstall
I gave a chance to 2a and it worked without any problem.
I'm still wondering what was wrong with 2b that has worked so well in Mavericks and Yosemite and I'd like to know if anyone here has used 2b succesfully.

Because of the hidden files and exact paths required, 2b is more difficult to follow.

It helps if you've done it before and understand the requirements...

Normally, people should use 2a. There is no downside really.

My ProBook 4540s runs Mac OS 10.11.1 with no problem but i wanted awake it after sleeping and it was turned off than ive got these screen. My bootable ssd is missing i can see only the recovery partitions.

Repair the disk in Disk Utility from the OS X installer.

I have manage to install 10.11 on Probook 6560b is the version with amd gpu

Core i5-2520M
Radeon HD 6470M
HM65 Series Chipset

So far everything works except couple of things.

* After Hibernate or sleep / closing lid the screen does not comes back, i have to restart, i tried: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 with no result

* I am getting a software update called Macbook Pro EFI FIrmware update 2.7, i did update it but it keeps appearing any way to get rid of that update?

Extract the 'patchmatic' binary from the ZIP. Copy it to /usr/bin, such that you have the binary at /usr/bin/patchmatic.

In terminal,

if [ -d ~/Downloads/RehabMan ]; then rm -R ~/Downloads/RehabMan; fi
mkdir ~/Downloads/RehabMan
cd ~/Downloads/RehabMan
patchmatic -extract

Note: It is easier if you use copy/paste instead of typing the commands manually.

Post contents of Downloads/RehabMan directory (as ZIP).

Also, post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

And output from:

kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc

Also, post EFI/Clover folder (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting).

I have an HP Elitebook 2560p. I used to have Yosemite 10.10.5 & Windows 10 in my SSD (256gb/2partitions) made with the HP Yosemite Installation with Clover guide (perfect).
Everything was smooth so i wanted to install the latest OS.
The guide is flawless and very aqua rate so i done the steps exactly as written.
After the installation and the profile setup i installed the HP_Probook_Installer_Clover_Edition_6.4.5 and i got the wireless and the sound !!!
But i have an issue with the external monitor. I'm using a docking station in my HP and the VGA cable is connected through that to my monitor. In Yosemite i had similar issue but i found a solution (I started the OS with the laptop lid closed and the external monitor power on; if i wanted the internal monitor all i had to do was to restart the OS with the lid open). But these doesn't seen to work in El Capitan.
I know i have an Intel HD3000 1366x768.
Is there a patch or something to fix the Video Card?

Check your config.plist for the VGA patch. Although HD3000 can support VGA with the patch, it is not very reliable. Best to disable the VGA patch and use an HDMI->VGA adapter.

Even when it is working, you must use "Detect Displays" in SysPrefs->Displays (use Option key to show the button).

Thank you for the quick answer.
I will try it. The bad about HP is that the are using DP (DisplayPort) instead of HDMI; but I will retrieve and DP to VGA adaptor. In the Settings/Displays I don't have the external monitor, only the build in Display.
So how it detects the external?
