Yes that's correct, I don't know how but apparently HP makes some of those Elitebooks with no built in webcam. I also have an Elitebook 840 G2 with no built in webcam, only been a week since I've owned it. Have yet to try and hack it.

Most likely a option when buying the laptop from HP i.e customisation. Although all the Probooks, Elitebooks I've seen has had a built in Webcam.

Yup you're right, but I get those probooks second hand off craigslist and ebay. I just make sure there's no password in bios and im good to go. VioletDragon, whenever you're ready to help me with that Probook 640 G1 and the Elitebook 840 G2 with brightness, and wifi/Bluetooth let me know bro.

hi, i'm conisdering to buy probook 4x30s to install snow leopard.

you have 4530s probook, how about fan noise?
how about 4430s or 4230s?

I would like to have a usb3.0 port and I do not want an external graphics card. I want to select a notebook with as little fan noise as possible. I also want to be light. I wonder which one is the best choice of Intel 2nd Generation ProBooks. I need your advice.

Hi, I just purchased trough eBay a 14" EliteBook Folio 1040 G2 | Core i7 5600U 2.6GHz | 180GB SSD | 8GB RAM. It will be delivered around 8th of November. Does anyone know what wifi/BT card I can use for handoff/continuity, since I can't find the BIOS whitelist. Maybe @RehabMan can help?

Where to search for a compatible replacement of the wifi/BT card. Please, give me an advice.

No whitelist in the 1040 G2.
You can use any WiFi card that is macOS/OS X compatible.
Most common choice is BCM94352 (BCM94342Z for M.2/2230, BCM94352HMB for half-mini PCIe).
