Yeah, good idea.

Seems it has problems with bluetooth. I got to el capitan desktop by copying probookatheros.kext (from yosemite EFI) over to kext folder on clover usb. That did the trick, don't know if it is correct though.

Installation of PBI failed afterwards, because of DirectHW.kext. It seems to have installed kexts to S/L/E anyway. I attached troubleshooting files and the screenshot.

"Waiting for DSMOS" without a corresponding "DSMOS has arrived" implies that FakeSMC is missing or not loading.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for so much of support till now. I am trying to upgrade El Capitan on pro book 4530s. I have followed the steps is post 1 but when I select the new icon for installation< get to a stage where it starts installing but then get a message "Unable to unmount the disk for repair". I tried rebooting in recovery mode and repaired the disk my self. but no luck. When I boot into El Capitan installation, I have also tried using disk utility to unmount but I can't unmount the partition. I have installed windows on other partition

Can someone please advice.

Now, what should i do ? i should rename port in AppleUSBXHCIPCI like IOReg ?

Install El Capitan -- OK
First Boot -- OK
HP ProBook Installer -- OK
Restart -- OK
Repair permissions, restart -- sound OK and Blackscreen
Boot from USB -- OK

Create a port injector appropriate for your hardware. Refer to the u430 example.
