Make sure you disable "Wake for network access" as it has issues with the wifi patches therefore causing slow wifi speeds after waking.

Thanks, I will give it a shot. I havent noticed slowered speeds after waking.

Hi @the3rdknuckles I am on 10.4.6, it has been very stable. I can help you if you need anything.
10-4.6? I’m gonna need help from the very beginning. Even properly make the installer for 10.14.5.

I just updated to 10.14.6

Elitebook 840g5 i5 fullHD display

Sound, trackpad and all other previously working functions are fine.

PR files attached for those who might be interested.

Im looking at your files and can't understand how you touchpad can work without VoodooI2CHID. I have 850G5 and I had many troubles with it.

Maybe 840 and 850 trackpads are in some way different? My files use rehabman's i2c branch

Guys, Im having troubles with webcam. Its not detected.
Im using i2c G5 4x0.

On i2c g4 840 its works fine.

But Im using 4x0 for HDMI port to work.

Hello Rehabman,

I did what was written in the guide. When I turn on the computer (FakePCIID ..) line remains, the computer does not start. What can I do for this situation. Adding screenshot.

Unsupported laptops

If you think your laptop might be similar to the ones listed as supported, but needs only small tweaks, please provide the following information:

- native DSDT/SSDT files extracted via Clover F4 (ACPI/origin)
- audio codec dump from Linux
- full hardware details (CPU, chipset, graphics device, screen resolution, etc)
- output from 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal

Rehabman,

Your guide worked perfectly for my HP Probook 650 G2 and High Sierra, but waking from sleep yields a blank screen.

I used the guide in the link below and it worked perfectly, outside of the sleep issue. Anything obvious I'm just missing?

The machine takes about 30 seconds to 'sleep' and when I wake it up, I just get a blank screen.

I've disabled hibernation based on the guide below, as well as the tip in the native power management guide:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
sudo mkdir /var/vm/sleepimage

sudo pmset -a standby 0
sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0

I can provide debug files gathered from black.dragon74's script.

Thank you in advance.
