[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

thanks for pointing to the acpi. added the patched files from original initial install using rehabmans guide.

checked and tested all suggestions.

still no audio.
and no trackpad customisation. just move pointer around. and click.
and long boot times.

maybe
apple changed something in their final update full installer 10.14.6

anyone with a solution for 8x0g1

else its probably safe to declare apple has won the war against hackintoshers, at least 10.14.6 and clover.

you need to determine which one you should be using:

also you only need 1 ethernet kext

also AppleBacklightFixup.kext is no longer required with latest version of whatevergreen

also no real need for your kexts to be in /L/E

may be best to remove those from /L/E and just have your kexts in clover/kexts/other folder instead
may save some issues you are having

delete every file in /L/E on the main HD?

did the rehabman script put it there? its all new to me.

some good news.

for layout-id for both pciroot
changes to 84

didnt hash out

we have audio.

have to hold fn key and audio up or down to change volume.


still no trackpad.


removed the files as suggested.
no BT and no wifi - no wifi hardware isntalled. bt not available.


i read somewhere rehabman explained himself why he put the files there.


anyone else reading this in 2022 and doing a new fresh clean install 10.14.6 with 8x0g1
for audio use layout id 84 for both in the pci root
