[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

I have a HP Elitebook 810 G3
HD 5500
i7-5600U

Everything works except Audio and Battery bar.
I have uploaded my audio DUMP and original and patched DSDT.
Please can you find the correct patch for battery.

It is the same as the Probooks. I also have BAT0, BAT1 and notify BAT0 BAT1 but the Probook patch does not work. Mazbe because there is no BATC.

Please fix the battery and maybe audio for the Elitebook G3 810.

I have patched shutdown fix 2 and brightness.

But there is no config for the Broadwell G3 810.

There are :
config_8x0_G3_Skylake.plist
Or
config_8x0_G2_Broadwell.plist

Should I use g2 for the g3 Notebook?

Can you make an educated guess how probable is a successful upgrade from 10.13.6 to 10.14 when doing:

1. Update Clover to you most recent release
2. git pull
3. ./download.sh
4. sudo ./install_downloads.sh
5. ./build.sh
6. sudo ./install_acpi.sh install_6x0g1_haswell ORIG

Do you actually plan to update the guide towards more WEG-centric approach?

What you propose won't work.
You must also update config.plist.
Read post #1 for complete post-install/update instructions.

Note: install_downloads.sh and install_acpi.sh are NOT to be run with sudo (again, read post #1).

I uploaded a new version to bitbucket/github (only sources, pre-built kext will be uploaded tomorrow) that should fix the crash you had.

FYI: Prebuilt ACPIBatteryManager.kext 1.90.1 is now on bitbucket... will be installed automatically by this guide.

Where is the AppleALC kext? my 4x40s audio is broken.

i found
AppleHDA_ProBook.kext
AppleHDAHCD_ProBook.kext
which one is it and install only on clover or /S/L/E or both ?

Forgot to remove it from the High Sierra guides post and attach to this one.
It is there now (attached to post #1 here).

Note: Removed AppleALC.kext download attachment from post #1. Updated kext is now in probook.git/kexts. Installed automatically by install_downloads.sh (download via download.sh is disabled for now, until official build is fixed).

Can you provide us with a bit more info when it comes to laptops like the ProBook 4530s which has Intel HD3000 graphics? Is it possible to install Mojave on it and use it? The reason why I am asking is that I also have a MacBook Air 4,1 which also has HD3000 graphics. On that MacBook I was able to use the unofficial patch over at http://dosdude1.com/mojave/ in order to install Mojave. And the MacBook runs pretty decently on Mojave despite having HD3000 graphics. Would it be possible to achieve the same effect with a ProBook 4530s?

I have no plans to support the idea of running kexts from older versions of macOS here.

Ok, I have updated my profile and uploaded all the files for the unsupported HP.
I have installed Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. Can you fix battery and audio now?
