[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Hi, I've recently got my hands on a 840 G5 (Intel gfx) - are there any plans to support this model? I understand that it depends on what is available to you, so fully appreciate a negative response. I would offer to provide whatever you need to make this possible, should you be interested, but please keep in mind that this guide has spoilt me in my Hackintosh endeavours, and I haven't had to work particularly hard getting my previous 840's working well (G1 and G3) and I thank you for this.

On my 9470m everything is running but I still have a small problem.

I have a BCM4352 built it runs WLan and BT but only with Clover from USB. With the same Clover of SSD no BT is also not found under HP16 USB

Here is an ioreg and the clover folder as I said everything just BT does not work with Clover from SSD with Clover from USB BT works

PLEASE HELP ME

Probably only minor differences between 8x0g4 (I assume the 840 G5 is either KabyLake or KabyLake-R).
You should run through the guide, pretend it is 8x0 G4 Kaby Lake.

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete/wrong (example: your ioreg files were collected with wrong IORegistryExplorer.app).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

You can assume that your model is 440g5 (kabylake-R), use 440g5 of config.plist and ssdt (440g5 rehabman has provided support), and then report the working status to RehabMan. It is best to extract 840g5 of the original ACPI file as an attachment, and indicate that the bios version is provided to RehabMan, allowing him to compare the differences between the models. Dear all,
I have triple-boot macOS + Windows 10 + Ubuntu in HP 450 G3 Probook using Rehabman's guide in this thread.
Recently, I have upgraded Windows 10 and Windows OS notify to clrar TPM and update TPM firmware by manufacturer (HP).
Should I do as Windows 10 OS suggest? Does it have any affect to the current macOS?

Thanks for any help!

Look at offset 0x02 and 0x00, why different offset return same value? Is it something wrong?

Hi! I'm having this odd issue on my HP Elitebook 8470p. Turbo Boost is disabled or not working and won't go above the normal 2.6 GHz (even when running intensive programs), when it could be operating at up to 3.30 GHz. What can I do to get it working? Any help would be very appreciated!

Note: NullCPUPowerManagement.kext is installed because my system basically won't run without it. Whenever I delete NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and reboot, the CPU is clocked at 800MHz. Removing it doesn't fix the Turbo Boost issue.

Hi, I have tested at 840g3 and TPM has been upgraded to 2.0. There is no impact on Linux and Hackintosh. You can safely upgrade the TPM firmware.
