Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Third clover does not appear automatically as a bootloader i need to plug bootable usb drive to select EFI then goes to clover.
any suggestion what is wrong with my laptop? i am new to try hacintosh.

Seems like you forgot to install Clover to your main system drive.
Read the guide carefully.

Keep in mind no expectation of working graphics when booting from EFI/Clover from the USB installer.

all recommended wifi hardwares are old to my laptop. my laptop support (ngff) M.2 slot. any recommendation for my laptop?

Your ioreg shows IntelBacklight.kext is loaded. First, it should not be present in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. And second, you should not be injecting kexts anyway.

You're injecting kexts due to the version of Clover you're using (InjectKexts=Detect seems broken in your version).
Use the RehabMan Clover as recommended in the guide.

Thanks man, it worked well now.

Sorry. This one. It's randomly lose brightness control, sounds, keyboard and touchpad. I need to restart several time or go to Windows then back to OS X to make it work.

Your drivers64UEFI is wrong. The guide does not recommend OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.
It recommends either OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi+EmuVariableUefi-64.efi or AptioMemoryFix.efi.

Also, you forgot to disable hibernation. Read post #1.

You should have installed to HFS+J instead of APFS. Read here:

You're using the wrong version of Clover. The guide recommends the latest RehabMan Clover build.

Hello,

I am on High Sierra 10.3.3. , good results with HP Elitebook 840 G2.

Now, following Spectre and Meltdown issues I am here to ask if anyone updated to bios 1.24 , and what is their opinion (Mac OS / Linux, don't care that much using Windows 10), in terms of stability, performance before and after updating the bios.

You can find all relevant information on HP dedicated page https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05869091/?openCLC=true .

There are many other models that already got the updated bios.

thanks anyone for reporting!

happy hacking

Hi,

I finally have the wifi card working (BCM943224HMS 582564-002) on my EliteBook 8560p. But something estrange happens when I connect a wired internet connection, the wifi card stop working and deactivate itself making imposible reactivate without reboot the laptop.

Regards.
