I have just finished installing my 4540s (i5-3230m) and just wanted to check I have Power management working correctly. Is there a way to check, look at the P states, etc?

If you followed the guide, it is working.
If you need analysis, read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

I posted a reply with problem reporting attachment, but it seems it was swiftly deleted.
Could you please explain why so I can correct any errors?

I don't see any reply. Deleted or otherwise.

Weird, I posted the reply, it said "awaiting moderator approval", then 2 mins later disappeared. I'll try again.

Hi, thanks for looking at this. I have two issues:
My battery doesn't last very long, so wanted to check the Power Managent.
My new SSD is only giving a write speed of 220Mbps, where read is 500Mbps, tested with Blackmagic and AJA apps. Both read and write should be around 500Mbps.

EFI not requested. Next time, provide only EFI/Clover as per "Problem Reporting".

Power management looks fine.
You should test your SSD performance on Windows for comparison.

hi Rehabman, there is a way to test keyboard mapping to see:

Option
Command
Fn

keys at which command/function in associated?

Thnaks

This would involve wiping my hard drive and installing widows. Is there any other way to check / test SSD performance?
Thanks for checking the Power Management.

Sorry, I don't know what you're asking.
