Hi RehabMan
HP 8470p has the built-in Broadcom bluetooth module. If I add a wifi card with bluetooth(Broadcom 4352HMB), Does bluetooth will work by following your guide ?

The bluetooth on the WiFi card will not be used, as the slot provides no access to the USB bus.

Your profile has no hardware details. As a result, impossible to answer...

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
("Personal Details" link from "profile menu" in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

oops... I'll get that when I get home.

In the meantime, do you know HPs part number for their rebranded AR5BHB92 (AR9280)? That looks like a much better option since its dual-band.

No such thing. HP part# for AR5B195 is provided in post #1.
Any AR5BHB92 can be rebranded so it can work.
But if you don't have a laptop with a BIOS whitelist, none of that matters, since you can install any compatible card.

Test the hardware on Windows.
Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".
for some reason the file was not attached on the last post. I will. thanks

The ioreg here shows bluetooth working.
If you can't see other devices, the problem is probably a hardware/installation issue (improperly attached antennas?)
