Hi,

I also have 440 g6 laptop, but my wifi card is Intel 9560ngw, but the connector seems that is a little bit different. I googled and found that is called CNVI.

Does that mean that this adapter you posted would work for my car or they are mutually compatible?

Yes, but not well. I needed support for WPA2/3-Enterprise / 802.1X for the University network "eduroam", so I had to use AirportItlwm.kext. The problem (ver. 2.0.0) is that after a while, the connection completely drops to 0 and I have to turn on/off the wifi card to regain internet

ahh ok

you must also check to see if your laptop has a whitelist of cards that will work on it, i was lucky on my Asus that most cards work on mine
