Thank you both themaskofwraith & RehabMan for all the fantastic drivers you have written.
I have been doing this quite for some time now, hell even converted those old HP DC 7700 desktop to OSX powerhouses.

Following the guide, everything went well, installed El Captitan and most things work almost out of the box.
But for the love of god, I just can't get Touchscreen and Two finger trackpad (One finger no problem using RehabMan's kext Voodoo) to get to work. Is there someone who also has the Pavilion X360 that had gotten these two to work?

What two finger trackpad functions do you expect to work?

Thank you for replying so quickly.

I only need scrolling to work for the trackpad. It had worked with Smart Touchpad from OSXlaititude, but was not stable, however after reading your FAQ, it seems to be a work in progress for newer laptops. I can be patient.

Regarding the touchscreen, themaskofwraith used the USBinjectAll kext from you. He said that it would not be a permanent solution as it eventually needed to be patched (which he did not get around to himself). However I guess it had worked without patching else it could not have been tested. I used the kext version of 23rd of April 2016, because this seemed to me the most logical one as that was the version that was out at the time themaskofwraith wrote the guide. Then I also tried later version to no avail.

Please find attached Problem Reporting files. Thanks again RehabMan.

Your trackpad is ELAN. You should look for PS2 drivers for ELAN.

See USB guide:

Plan on custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext.

Hey guys im having real trouble getting the USB to boot

I first tried unibeast and had a KP so followed the linked guide and now getting bootstrap errors and then Services exited with abnormal code 225

I am running a HP pavilion x360 i3 4030U

so have added the HD4000 as the config.plist, not sure if that is the problem?

and added the SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext to the kext/other folder

thoughts?

Please fix before your next reply.

This guide is for a Skylake laptop. You mention i3-4030U, which is Haswell. And then you mention using a plist for HD4000?

I really have NO idea why you're trying to follow a Skylake/HD520 guide, but using an Ivy Bridge/HD4000 plist on your Haswell/HD4400 laptop...

no idea mate! not really sure what was what to be honest, I got given this laptop today, its a HP pavilion x360, windows says its an i3-4030U so was guessing I used the HD4000?... obviously I was wrong!

so what I have is a Haswell then? any chance you can nudge me in the right direction for a guide if this is the wrong place?

I shall update my info

This (Skylake) guide is not appropriate for your Haswell laptop (they are two CPU generations apart).

As per Intel data, i3-4030U is HD4400.
