I did both and this is what I get. Every time the multicore score is lower. What else can I try? Is my machine infected?

Try another benchmark test like Cinebench and see if the scores are normal there.

I search this forum and found that removing cpu=1 from Boot/Arguments section of config.plist fixed that. I don't know where that flag came from. I don't recall messing with config.plist other than what the guide said. Thank you for your quick responses.

Yes, those will work. The CAS latency isn't as low but 11 is still good. Heatsinks aren't all that important.
