The CLover used on the HP8100 is r5100, and the OS is 10.12.6.
Uses the latest Lilu + AalleALC available for download now.
id = 17 was added from AplleALC v1.3.4, so please use the latest version.

Desktop will be displayed in about 30 seconds from the start menu of Clover using SSD.

It works with @WEG using RX460, and HDMI and USB Audio are available.

Is there anything I can do to help?

sorry i took so long to get back to this thread. i'm going to try again this weekend. i'll update with what I find. i really appreciate all the help in this thread from you and others.

Hi everyone, I would like to install Catalina on my HP 8200, I installed a GT 640. I already have a Hackintosh. I have already created the bootable stick. Could anyone give me a ready-made EFI? I can't find guides for catalina.. Thanks so much.

Hello, anybody did fix sound in Catalina?, did try use 17 injector and put lilu and alc kext to other, and pc never boot with this injector, if remove 17, pc boots but still no sound=((

I use gt710 i5 2500, if someone has working sound on Mojave or Catalina please provide for me efi.

Hello , sorry for being a noob (saying that from the beginning).
I am currently running macOS High Sierra on HP 6200 PRO micro-tower
i5 2500 - 3.1 Ghz
12 GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3
Regular HDD
Nvidia Quadro NVS300 512 MB

It is a nightmare to inject Nvidia Web Driver at every boot up , but ,better than nothing .
I am looking for a small upgrade on this pc .

Planning to switch HDD to and SSD i already own - Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB (is it working ?)
Also ,i am still looking for a graphic card to buy and i got really confused by the amount of person
who are recommending GT710 .
I am stuck between GT710 or 1050 Ti LP
The hardest thing seems to be finding the Low Profile version to fit inside the Micro tower .

Ok, so got few different questions :

1. Which graphic card should i buy ?
2. Is there any compatibility problem with the brand of the SSD ?
3.Are there any compatibility problems with GPU (as i am looking forward to upgrade to Catalina or Mojave) ?
4.Do you recommend anything else for me ?

why not edit your config.plist so you won't have to add it on every bootup?

you just need to mount your EFI and navigate to your config.plist, open it and amend as needed, really easy

i messed it up badly ...
i think i changed second before boot in clover form 3 to 0
now, he is booting a o different partition and it is not showing me any choice.

is there any key on the keyboard i should press ?

this boot menu is no longer showing up and clover is booting straight to an installation of Catalina Partition where is giving me an error and the only option is to restart . after restart ,it is going in the same place...then restart again .


Can you please give me an advice ?
