maybe read what i said above....I tried to open the file with MaciASL and I get the error "The document “battery_Lenovo-Z50-70.txt” could not be opened. MaciASL cannot open files in the “text” format." however when I downloaded it, it only comes as a .txt not a .dsl
no, you open your DSDT.dsl file in macIASL then press the Patch button and copy and paste the contents of your text file in the Patch Text section, then you click apply

because you got errors, did you actually read and follow all the instructions on the link i gave you? or did you just open your DSDT.aml and try and patch it???Ok so I went to the MaciASL I paste it in I clicked patch and I got an error.
