Thanks, whats the proper Chameleon I'll install?
because I have here 2 Chameleon installer,
first is Chameleon-2.0 -RC5p - no working
second is Chameleon-2.0 -r431 - says "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)"
What might could this be?

Can you use more recent version like 2.1svn
also make sure you install Chameleon to USB drive. It easy to overlook that step.

I'm also using USB mouse. No problem here. Perhaps switching to different port will make it recognized again?
Are all USB options ON in BIOS?

Yes, but after installing using USB, I can't get it in to boot in the Hard Drive, I use iBoot now, So Far,, I finish the install without any errors.

That's where step 7 comes in. Please don't use iBoot or any additional software, I want make sure we are on the same page.
I will post step 7 shortly.

Thanks, I ejected now the iBoot.. repair permissions and restarted.. still can't boot on the hard drive..

Step 7.

Once USB install was successful please reboot from USB and start installation again.
This time choose Utilities->Terminal and do following. Please pay attention to / and lower-uppercase

cd / *change to the root of USB disk*
ls -al /Volumes *list available volumes to get names*
cp mach_kernel /Volumes/SL/ *copy to HD partition SL*
cp -R Extra /Volumes/SL/ *copy Extra folder to SL*
ls -al /Volumes/SL/ *list files on SL to make sure mach_kernel and Extra is there*

reboot with USB again and the prompt choose hard drive.
Install Chameleon to the hard drive, remove USB and reboot.

Let me know when you are ready for the 10.6.8 update.

Sorry for being so noob, but
I can't do as what you stated.
Here is the details.
My USB Flash was named: Mac Os X Install DVD
My Hard Drive was named: Macintosh

How can I apply these to yours:
cd / *change to the root of USB disk*
ls -al /Volumes *list available volumes to get names*
cp mach_kernel /Volumes/SL/ *copy to HD partition SL*
cp -R Extra /Volumes/SL/ *copy Extra folder to SL*
