I haven't tried yet, no... it's my main working machine, so I'm not sure I will do it some time soon. But I 'll keep you updated, if no one else does before me.

@infraroth does the fan spin down and stop when the temps are low / the card isn't under load? Or does it run all the time?

The fan runs all the time, but it's quite discreet under normal usage I would say. It will get noisy when editing heavy videos or playing games though...

I followed this guide and encountered no problem at all. I have the same heatpipes than the author of this thread. A little more thermal paste than provided by Steacom would do no harm I think. When encoding videos, my processor reaches almost 100° C after a few minutes... but that's the only situation where this happens.
