[Guide] Dual Booting Mountain Lion and Windows 8

I followed the guide exactly. Got both Wndows 7 and Mavericks installed. Only problem is default boot drive is Windows and I want it to be Mavericks. Any ideas on how I can remedy this so that Mavericks is my default drive ? To get into Mavericks I must have my unibeast usb drive inserted also...... Any insights would be much appreciated.

I am working on a Pro Book 4530s

Assuming you followed the ProBook guide...

Read post #2 of the laptop guide.

As fas as I'm aware i thought it was just a case of changing the boot order.... I ahve have been trying that using Chameleon Wizard without success.....

You followed an old guide.
You should follow the guide I linked (it uses Clover UEFI, not Chameleon).
Does that mean I would have to reinatalll from scratch? If that's what I must do, I will....

It is possible to convert from legacy/Chameleon, undo all the stuff that is not necessary on Clover, etc...
But it requires you know what you're doing.
A novice should probably start over.

Ok , and will the new guide work with Mavericks ? Mavericks is a must for my set up.

I haven't tested with Mavericks lately, but it should work.
Further questions regarding your ProBook are off-topic here. You should post in an appropriate thread in the laptop forum.
