I did it, but it doesn't work, I have the same issues. :(
The SSDT4 is now SSDT-6.aml and SSDT5 is SSDT-7.aml.

I have always the 4 errors on SSDT-6.dsl and the 2 errors in SSDT-7.dsl.

You did not disassemble correctly. Read the guide carefully.

If you need help, attach all native DSDT+SSDT files.

Thank you for you help, I disassemble with iasl -e, and the compilation was successful.
For the nvidia gpu I just set DropOem=true on SSDT, and I have no nvidia things on system information.

Thank you again for your advice ! ^^

can someone please upload their functioning efi clover folder
would make installation for noobs like us a whole lot easier

You can't use patched ACPI files from another computer, so there is no point...

are you sure?
i have done it for my surface pro 3 and everything works perfectly

100% sure.

It only works if the two computers have exactly the same hardware configuration (amount of memory, BIOS version, etc.)
With mismatched ACPI, problems can be intermittent/hard to trace.
If you know how to check for compatibility (check SystemMemory addresses), you can use already patched ACPI.
Best result with ACPI hotpatch, such that native ACPI is patched by Clover on the fly.

Sorry for necro'ing this thread but I have this laptop (4710HQ+GTX 860M) and I'm having trouble finding a WiFi card that fits. I bought this model : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00JESLUWQ/?tag=tonymacx86c0c-20 but it doesn't fit in the current wireless card slot. The one bought is about 1/4" too large to fit, unless I was mistaken in which slot to put it. Would you happen to have a suggestion that worked for you ?

Also, I managed to have keyboard working but trackpad is still not working. I've tried VoodooPS2Controller kexts, installing it via kext drop and even trying with Multibeast but it's still not working :/

Probably is NGFF/M.2 2230.
Read FAQ.

Hey Lyxandrah,

Rehabman is correct. It is an M.2 / NGFF 2230. This is what it looks like

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0156DVQ7G/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

It is a Broadcom BCM94352Z. You can also get a DW1560 (that is the Dell model number).

My trackpad just works with the kexts listed throughout this thread. I don't recommend using it however. Just plug in a mouse. The trackpad sucks on this laptop.

Good luck
