Yeah, but both are deactivated? So its possible to remove them from the folder?
Users reported in the Big Sur thread that, FakePCIID and its subkext are causing instability issues for the moment in Monterey. They are disabled "for now" until a fix can be implemented. If they are disabled in the config.plist as I have them, they are not the source of your issue.

If you go into BIOS and add a boot entry for OpenCore, ensure you are drilling down into the boot device to /EFI/OC/OpenCore.efi as your boot entry. Since 0.6.6, OpenCore.efi is now a UEFI application and can be booted directly.

Well , I manage to boot from oc 7,4 with Monterey , but I have to boot with the profile of MacBook Pro 14.1 only, I try many times to put the right config for my xps15, 9560- i7-7700HQ with 14,3, the boot ends up on black screen
is something wrong in my setup? can you please check my EFI? Thank you for you time

please read the faq for proper hardware profile setup:

i7. 4K is too vague, no idea on your hardware so unable to help you until you rectify your profile

Hi Folks!
This is my first venture with OpenCore and for the life of god I can't get the USB to boot. I'm running Catalina with Clover and from the macOS installation I'm creating the Install Media.
Just in case, I tried both BigSur (@blazinsmokey's guide) and the one here, but for some reason my laptop doesn't like it and it won't boot into the installation. Tried also replacing/modifying the MacBookPro 14,3 to 14,1... still no dice.

Any pointers? anything (probably VERY basic) I'm missing that I can't see to get my USB install media to boot? Its stuck with a small Apple logo and I left it for 35 mins the last time just in case it was just plain slow :)

Any tip is appreciated! thanks!

I am also having problems booting from the USB Installer with the newer EFI. I use my own SMBIOS settings for both MacBookPro 14,1 and 14,3. After the progress bar moves about a quarter of the way the screen goes black and progresses no further. I have the 1920x1080 display, not the 4K.
