After taking a few months off tinkering with this particular system, I've returned to it last week.

Installation was smooth. got all kexts updated and almost everything is working as intended, except for 2 small annoyances.

1. When the machine is hooked up to my USB-C WD15 docking station or a DA200 USB-C hub, the machine restarts instead of shutting down. Without either hooked up the machine shuts down correctly.

2. External display hooked up to either the WD15 (HDMI or MiniDP) or DA200 (HDMI) gives no video output or a green screen that briefly shows the desktop for a few seconds before going back to green (back and forth every few seconds).

Wake on Dell USB-C Dock = off
I've tried SMBIOS 13,1 up to 14,3 with no success at getting it working.
Apart from this, the machine works great. and hooking up the external display directly (HDMI port on the laptop) works too.

Problem report files have been attached below.

Hope our lord and savior @RehabMan can shed some light here.

Apply patches one at a time to determine the patch you are applying that is coded incorrectly and causing the error.
Update: Solved my Thunderbolt port issue. Patchmatic is amazing!!! Rehabman, endless thank you(s)! Would love to buy you a beer someday. (KNNSpeed too!)

Found the culprit using IORegEplr, tried to patch and compile via MaciASL. Ran into tons of errors. Used Patchmatic instead. Have a **** ton of SSDT's in my clover folder now, but the system is running great and the Thunderbolt is active. :headbang:

Hi... I have small doubt.. XPS 9560 and Inspiron 7577 both are having same i7-7700hq processor.. Then why the benchmarks are 15600 for inspiron and 13435 for xps?

I had a ton of stuff running in the background including a vm (which i can't switch off right now). but closing most apps and running it again comes closer to what should be expected.

mind sharing your clover folder? would like to see some of those SSDTs if you don't mind :)

Audio was working with the ComboJack fix but I mistakenly updated through the appstore yesterday and caused a kernel panic. I reinstalled OS from recovery and re-implemented the ComboJack fix but now I'm not getting the pop-up like before. These are my system logs now regarding verbstub. Can't see verbstub in IORegistery anywhere.

2018-03-04 01:22:14.115879-0400 0x72 Default 0x0 0 kernel: Kext com.XPS.VerbStub - library kext com.apple.kpi.iokit not compatible with requested version 16.6.

2018-03-04 01:22:14.189424-0400 0x72 Default 0x0 0 kernel: Couldn't alloc class "VerbStubResidency"
Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure you follow the steps on page 9 thoroughly.
Sounds like BooterConfig and/or CsrActiveConfig aren't set as specified.
Also make sure to set all kexts to /L/E using kext wizard or KextBeast. Try to keep your EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder as clean as possible with only the essentials(FakeSMC/IntelGraphicsFixup/Lilu/NvidiaGraphicsFixup/USBInjectAll/VoodooPS2Controller).

If that doesn't work, follow the Problem Report steps here.

Would enabling SSDT-RMDGPU remove usage of the dGPU on OS X and Windows 10 if on a dual boot? Is there a way to shut off the dGPU only when booting into OS X?

edit: for the 9560

the 9360 doesn't have an Nvidia chip. no need to disable anything. In theory(since I do not dual-boot), it wouldn't disable anything (Windows side) unless it's done so from the UEFI BIOS, which isn't the case.
