Wish I had seen your messages before @PastilloAr and @cele_82 . I had the same error (installed the graphic drivers from Intel instead of Dell because it complained about not being the right one). Had the loop;1:err1; too. Unfortunately I have a blank screen ever since and think from what I've read that I have to change the screen altogether.

Do you know if it's fixable?
Do you think a QHD screen would still work for hackintosh? Thanks

As far as I understand, QHD screen worked for Darkvoid (https://github.com/the-darkvoid/XPS9360-macOS) and others. Mine is FHD.
I don't know if the problem is fixable or you have to change the screen.... maybe you can try connecting an external screen to retry the update, using the correct driver.

Did you format your NVME right? Did you enable TRIM and SSD power management?

I run a M2 SSD, so can’t comment on this topic. Skip through this thread, there is a lot of valuable stuff hidden somewhere in the middle. But I remember reading some posts last year about NVME power management, so this maybe your culprit.

What SSD model is yours ? NVMe fix is helping a little with general temperature stuff but not so much in overall power.

Also with your settings... can you remind me why formatting to 4k sectors is important ? I left my disk with 512b

Lastly, did you do any undervolting ? Is it worth ?

pkg at 0.7W. You need to use the USB-C fix from the dark void repo on GitHub. This is also in my EFI, so if you used my whole EFI without updating anything, you should have the same draw. Btw turn off your touchscreen and the sd card reader in BIOS, it saves you a little bit and it may be the culprit.

Hi @Richylitschy what is Core min frequency reported in Intel Power Gadget ? I just swapped my NVME for an SSD and I swear it would go down to 0.4 sometimes... now best I saw is 0.7GHz. My PKG power after the SSD swap has gone to ~0.7W when idle.

Correction. I can see 0.4GHZ after sleep... is there a reason why I would need Sleep/Wake to get the CPU to a lower ghz ?

I can see better power management after boot even if Coremin feq is 0.8GHz... after sleep the Coremin is lower but jumps very often between 0.3-0.5 and Coconut battery reports more power draw from the system.

Anyone seeing this as well ? Why would the Coremin change so much ? Also PKG after sleep is a little higher. Discharging in that screenshot is 3.85W but very often over 4W after sleep... and with system idle doing nothing. It's almost a watt more after sleep.

Still better than 6.5W of discharging power reported by Coconut battery that I had with the NVME drive.

Any idea ? I see that if I choose Sleep from the apple menu and click to wake it as soon as the screen goes black the PKG goes back to what I see after boot... so there's something about wake not going ok 100% all the time....

Do you see the same on your systems ?

I'm having problems with the webcam. I didn't see them before, so I'm not sure if the problem appeared with 10.5.3 update or after that.
The camera appears at System Report, but when you open Facetime, Photo Booth or Skype in Console can be seen this error

error 15:07:33.126272+0300 VDCAssistant CMIO_DPA_VDC_Server_FrameAccumulator.cpp:3876:DecodeMJPEGFrames [guid:0x1450000005ac8510] DecompressionSession DecodeFrame fail

Is the camera working for everyone else?

Has anyone ever fixed the relative low sound volume on MacOS compared to Windows 10? Currently using layout id 11 with latest AppleALC. Sometimes my audio cuts out completely two and re-enables after I navigate to sound => input.

Fixed this by installing CodecCommander and then reinstalling Combo Jack! Working flawlessly now.

I'm really a noob here and everything works fine, except for the headphone jack. I followed this guide to a T. Is there anything I could try to fix it? I really don't want to mess anything up, but headphone jack would be nice to have! I don't know where to start troubleshooting this. Thanks!
