Hello dudes. I have watched for long time but can not find any example of hackintosh with xps 9370/9570. So sorry I have to ask my questions here:

1. Is the 8 gen cpu compatible with hackintosh as well as 6/7 gen?
2. I found out that 9370 can not replace the wifi card, what about the new 9360 with 8 gen cpu?
3. Does the tutorial in this thread work with new 9360 (8 gen)?

Hey why I have your attention, is there any reason why I couldnt make this a dual boot windows/mac os machine as well.

Clover EFI will pick up Windows automatically. I have an external USB 3.1 SSD with Windows To Go on it.
Very handy to quickly boot up Windows when I want to.

Yep. There was a project which started a few years ago, sadly never progressed beyond proof of concept.

However this materialised very recently:

That is awesome dude. For the 9370, I believe it will need a port of the following for the consumer model (Killer 1435) while the enterprise model can use the Intel driver (hopefully).

https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware/

Killer article pointing to that driver:

From what I read online the Killer 1435 WiFi card is so bad that people literally want to throw their Dell XPS 9370 out of the window. So not sure if its actually worth developing a driver for...

For those wanting to test, the latest commit 53f2aa8 now has an SSDT implementing the required EC queries for displaying temperatures in HWMonitor through FakeSMC.
