Ok thanks so do you think I could you your clover files to boot in to the masOS
If you sure your laptop is same model, it might be.
Just make sure which OS X version you'll going to install.
For 10.13.3, please use attachment at #7, otherwise #1.

Little better than Windows, but not apparent.

Two reasons:
  • Not turn on 940MX
  • I install OS X on HDD, so my become little high power usage.

New info: For OS X 10.13.3 update.

OK, i just upgrade OS X to 10.13.3, and the installation seems no issue expect HDMI.

Previously I'm using 0x591b0000 as ig-platform-id + HDMI patch for 0x591b.
But this will cause freeze after 10.13.3 update when plug HDMI.

It seems like 0x591b patch have issue on this OS version.
To fix this, using 0x59160000 as platform-id, and using HDMI patch for 0x59160000

And...HDMI back to work again!

Below is a new CLOVER for 10.13.3

Hi there. I had the same problem when i updated to 10.13.3, and this platform-id makes my HDMI work again. The problem is that the laptop's display flickers with this setting. Any fix?

I didn't met the issue about flickers when using 0x59160000.

But you can try using 0x591b0000 as platform-id with this patch.
I already verified and sure that it works on my laptop.

Follow the picture above, create one array inside the KextsToPatch then fill these data.
Remember to set "Disabled=YES" or just delete it for original HDMI patch.

Thanks for the patch. Now HDMI works with both 0x591b and 0x5916. But i have a bigger issue now: unplugging HDMI will make the laptop screen goes black. This happens with both ids. Sleep is also broken, now.

Man, i should have stayed on 10.13.2, everything was perfect...

Ps.: I noticed the laptop display only flickers when there's a second monitor plugged via HDMI.

No PR files, so Idk what reason.

Are the touchpad gestures working?
