[Guide] Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (skylake)

Helping?

I guess a lot of people are forgetting to read the comments in these .dsl files....

Yeah. My guess is that they don't even realize that's documents out there in the comments.

Hi,

Glad to hear that.

While testing audio and other functions i found that audio does not work through headphones, but microphone does. So is it possible to make audio run through headphones. Headphones are detected in the sound tab of system preferences.

Thank you in advance

You did not disable hibernation.

Your kextcache output proves kexts are not installed correctly.
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.

Hello! I've followed the guide but instead of the static patch, I opted to do hot patch instead for ease of troubleshooting when something happens. I've followed the guide here on how to disable the Nvidia GPU but I'm to sure if it was truly disabled (it still shows up on System Report). Did I implement it correctly? Or I have to do something else to disable the GPU? Thank you!

The ioreg shows Nvidia still active.
