thanks.

logs is attached.
one by 'log' in terminal.. the other, using maclog.

You need to do the legwork.
You should be looking for the debug logs that result specifically when you press the capslock key.
You can search for PS2 related stuff by searching for PS2.

After some filtering, timing, I got this..
I started to press the already bugged caps lock at exactly 17:45:50, and stopped at 17:46:15.

Code:
2017-09-01 17:45:51.010906-0300 0xf6 Default 0x0 0 kernel: (kernel) ApplePS2Controller: Timed out on keyboard input stream.

Your PS2 port is acting strangely... hardware bug/instability, I assume.

Well, that's a bummer. Going to see if people with the same laptop model has the problem as well.
Thank you anyway, Rehab! Always glad to see you helping me.

hi cagalindo,

newbie here...i have the exact Dell Laptop that you have, but different Processor (i7 7500U).

Can you guide me a little coz Im stuck on apple logo. So far I've done the ff:

1. Create bootable usb using Unibeast OSX 10.12.6
2. Followed your guide, copied the contents of to install.zip you attached to /EFI/CLOVER and override existing files.

But when I boot the USB, it stuck on apple logo.

Can you guide me? I just want to install OSX that way I can proceed with all the fixes that you have.

Thank you

This guide is for Sierra only. High Sierra there is a different scheme.
My High Sierra folder is attached.
Also, I do not recommend you to use my EFI folder, make it your own.
If you're going to use High Sierra, please be aware that:

Caps Lock issue still exist;
Combojack is causing weird restart sometimes when plug headphone.

If still cannot boot into installer, post verbose photo and EFI folder.

My High Sierra folder is attached.

Please trim this ZIP such that only EFI/Clover is present.
There is no need to upload/download the entire EFI folder (with EFI/APPLE).

Updated!
Rehab, I was just wondering..
would you think that the problem with Caps Lock freezing could be caused because of DVMT?

Thanks for sharing this. Works well with my machine. :)
