After use EFI you i have issue when first longing in.
That looks like crashes I've mentioned when booting with verbose mode turned off. You can just enable verbose in clover config and it should not bother you. I just ignore them. Haven't figured out to check logs, now we at least know it's graphics related. I can play with graphics settings when I have spare time and see if we can get rid of this completely.

Actually, I've just checked and my crashes were related to VoodooPS2Controller.kext. I've downgraded to 1.8.34 (RehabMan-Voodoo-2018-0506) and managed to reboot multiple times without single crash. So your problem is different.
Your signature says you're using Dell Inspiron 5570.
Which laptop you're running this EFI on?

Hollo,
Help me please.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

I was more looking to recreate manually what is not working for me (audio) and potentially try Mojave on another drive as an experiment.
Changed audio layout from 28 to 30 and got headphone jack clipping fixed.

Oh I never got even that far, the thing won't even show up in the audio devices list.

With help of support I finally managed to get first post editable and updated it with improved EFI folder and list of working/broken things

  • Trackpad (VoodooI2C.kext based - MacBook like experience, with multi-touch gestures like safari zoom, swipe screen switch)
Hi,
Thanks for this useful guide for me because I bought the same laptop last week !
DELL 5379 (2+1)- i5 8250U - UHD 620 (do not success to update my build signature)

I am WIP - did not patch everything - still not replaced stock wifi (use a dongle for wifi) - I replaced the W10 stock drive by a samsung SATA running 10.14.1 (no dual boot for now)

I have added all the guide kexts (including VirtualSMC) + config.plist based on one provided by @RehabMan for HD620 from https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config

Working :
USB
sleep/wake (no advanced testing)
camera (checked by opening FaceTime)
graphic (using WEG devices setting)
internal audio speaker (using WEG devices setting - HDMI not tested)
touchscreen (nice !)
keyboard backlight (including off when sleep)
battery status : status appears 100% when powered and fully loaded (still not enough time to make advanced discharge testing) - EDIT : battery status decreases OK when laptop is not powered
trackpad simple gestures : scroll, touch for select and right click

Issues / not working :
- Trackpad multi touch gestures: zoom, navigation in safari and else are not working
EDIT : I have fixed the trackpad issue with clover XOSI patch and SSDT-XOSI.aml - Trackpad is now much more responsive with this patch
- Functions keys (F11,F12...) -> no brightness control
EDIT : SSDT-PNLF.aml hotpatch working with lilu and applebcklightfixup kext fixed brightness control from system preferences/display - F11/F12 brightness control keys is fixed with clover hotpatch "Rename BRT6 to BRTX" and adding SSDT-BRT6.aml
- few seconds trackpad/keyboard freeze at Mojave login boot screen
EDIT : login freeze issue is solved by setting intel graphics (disabling connector), see guide : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen.256490/

Attached my PR files if someone can guide me to progress for solving issues ?

Thanks

uh, none. It's not a actual touch screen with any real use. Basically it's like a mouse.

I may have missed it, but can you comment on whether the touchscreen is responding to touch - and if so, what gestures are supported?

Thanks,
Tom

Thank you very much my laptop Inspiron 13 5379 just like yours I did put every thing like you did but the only thing did not work the sound built in and the battery percentage? is there ny way you can help me with and the file was great and thank you very much again.
