I am using (via clover -> kexts folder) IntelBacklight.kext and ACPIBacklight.kext.

Wrong. IntelBacklight.kext and ACPIBacklight.kext are mutually exclusive.

Read the guide. Carefully.

Thank you RehabMan, I missed that they were mutually exclusive. My apologies. I did read the intelbacklight.kext is preferred I will remove the other one.

UPDATE:
I have tried only using IntelBacklight.kext. No boot error, but no backlight control in setting -> Display

May have to do some more tinkering and reading.

Any thoughts on the ELAN kext issue?

It means you did not patch DSDT with "Brightness Fix".

No ELAN hardware here... and would not use the ELAN kext by EMlyDinEsh as it is not open source (and violates open source license).
