I don't know! The bios was made by another user from another site, but i think the mod is to fix cpu power management, avoid kernel panic issue.

Ignore patch BIOS advice - this is no longer necessary since Clover can patch it on the fly in the kernels & kexts to patch section. The patch was to unlock the MSR in BIOS to avoid a KP at boot because OS X wants to write to the MSR and some OEM board makers (Asus, MSI and Asrock) locked the MSR in their version of BIOS.
