do i have to downgrade the dell 7348 bios version from A08 to A05 in order to boot from efi shell?

when i tried to boot from the files extracted from efi.zip----
no boot volume found either in ueffi or legacy

Make sure it is at \EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.efi, as per UEFI spec.

Assuming the offset you're using is correct, it likely means the setting is protected/encrypted.

You could try the Linux option, or unlock BIOS, or flash a patched BIOS, or use the minStolenSize patch and hope it works...

Enter bios F2. Press Tab + Fn. Nothing. Save and exit. Enter bios. Congratulation))))))
But after shotdown settings is dissaper - no problem)

.fd file may be extracted in temp file. Look there.
